Patricia Urquiola 是常驻米兰的西班牙建筑师与设计师。她先后在马德里和米兰理工大学学习建筑与设计，并在 Achille Castiglioni 指导下完成学业。2001年，她与 Alberto Zontone 共同创立 Studio Urquiola。

Patricia Urquiola is a Spanish architect and designer based in Milan. She studied architecture and design in Madrid and at the Politecnico di Milano, where she completed her studies under Achille Castiglioni. In 2001 she founded Studio Urquiola with Alberto Zontone.

事务所的工作覆盖产品、建筑、室内、艺术指导与策略咨询。Urquiola 并不把房间与物件视为彼此分离的专业，而是将它们理解为生活体验中相互关联的组成部分。

The studio works across product design, architecture, interiors, art direction and strategic consulting. Urquiola approaches rooms and objects as related parts of lived experience rather than separate disciplines.

Her work often begins with an empathic reading of the user. Colour, tactility, craft and industrial technology are combined to make spaces and products that invite interaction while retaining practical clarity.

Projects such as Il Sereno on Lake Como, Room Mate Giulia in Milan, The Rome EDITION and the renovated public areas of Four Seasons Hotel Milano show how this approach adapts to hospitality, existing architecture and local material histories.

家具、工业与文化连续性

Urquiola's furniture and product work extends the same research into seating, surfaces, textiles, lighting and domestic objects. Her collaborations connect craft knowledge with contemporary manufacturing, often testing recycled or reworked materials and new production processes.

自2015年起，她担任 Cassina 创意总监。无论是事务所项目还是产业合作，她的实践都体现出持续的好奇心、对意外关联的探索，以及对人们如何在日常生活中感知设计的长期关注。

Since 2015 she has served as Creative Director of Cassina. Across studio projects and industry collaborations, her practice is defined by curiosity, unexpected connections and a sustained attention to how people encounter design in everyday life.
