Johnny Chiu（邱柏文）是 JC. Architecture & Design 创始人。这家跨学科事务所以台北为基地，并在台湾与美国开展建筑、室内、家具和公共装置项目。

Johnny Chiu is the founder of JC. Architecture & Design, a multidisciplinary studio based in Taipei with work across Taiwan and the United States. His education and international experience inform a practice that moves between architecture, interiors, furniture and public installations.

邱柏文把设计视为能够跨越文化与专业边界的语言。概念通过真实使用接受检验，并把实验精神与对地方习惯、机构和公共生活的直接观察结合。

Chiu treats design as a language able to cross cultures and professional boundaries. Concepts are tested through real use, often combining experimentation with a direct reading of local habits, institutions and public life.

从室内空间走向公共体验

台湾铁路"鸣日厨房"与台北市立美术馆纪念品商店等项目，展示了事务所如何把熟悉功能转化为新的参与方式。

Projects such as The Moving Kitchen for Taiwan Railway and A Little Museum Store for Taipei Fine Arts Museum show how the studio turns familiar programmes into new forms of participation.

作品刻意挑战惯例，却并未脱离环境。最有力量之处，是以意外体验重新显现文化身份、移动方式和日常行为。

The work is deliberately unconventional, but not detached from context. Its strongest projects use surprise to make cultural identity, movement and everyday behaviour newly visible.
