A curved sofa wraps around the hearth, with windows nearly six metres high on the other side of the seating area. Passengers can look towards the runways or settle in facing the fire. ![A curved sofa follows the round hearth, with timber elements extending down from the ceiling behind the seats](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010137-XNPZ643i.webp!dis) A curved sofa follows the round hearth, with timber elements extending down from the ceiling behind the seats. ## The fire comes into view before the reception desk A corridor leads into a reception area with a lower ceiling. Behind the sculpted timber desk is an illuminated screen patterned with topographic contours. Beyond reception the view opens out. Oak screens and twisted metal elements separate the different areas, with gaps that keep the fireplace in sight. ![A suspended metal hood tapers towards the fire; runway-facing windows stretch behind the sofa](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010138-hJekkdQI.webp!dis) A suspended metal hood tapers towards the fire; runway-facing windows stretch behind the sofa. ![Blue recliners have separate footstools and orange textiles draped over their backs](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010140-OP5SjtTP.webp!dis) Blue recliners have separate footstools and orange textiles draped over their backs. ![A side view shows individual reading lights beside the armrests](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010141-kc9C1jRc.webp!dis) A side view shows individual reading lights beside the armrests. ## A choice of seats by the windows In the quieter part of the lounge, high-backed banquettes curve to form semi-private nooks alongside recliners with individual footstools. Lighting is subdued and sound-absorbing elements are incorporated here. The windows look across the runways towards downtown Seattle and the mountains beyond. ![Round stools and orange seats stand on opposite sides of the passage by the fireplace](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010142-CZAopGCD.webp!dis) Round stools and orange seats stand on opposite sides of the passage by the fireplace. ![A white serving island stands beneath an overhead frame that echoes its outline](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010143-NEB1V6aM.webp!dis) A white serving island stands beneath an overhead frame that echoes its outline. ![A red banquette runs along the screen, with blue chairs at the timber tables](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010145-NjMWVM5D.webp!dis) A red banquette runs along the screen, with blue chairs at the timber tables. ![A broad aisle separates high tables by the windows from lower seats on the right](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010146-UWbnM8si.webp!dis) A broad aisle separates high tables by the windows from lower seats on the right. ![Armchairs and small tables line a blue wall beneath pendant lights](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010147-nFJwDQkw.webp!dis) Armchairs and small tables line a blue wall beneath pendant lights. ## From the coffee counter to the bar The central bistro seats a hundred, with a serving island accessible on all four sides. Small tables beside the leather banquettes can stand apart or be pushed together. In the bar, miniature bottles are lit from behind the oval walnut counter. A patch of stained end-grain oak flooring traces a rug-like outline around the bar. ![Patches of colour in the floor thin out between the curved bar and the long window counter](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010149-uuHepvyH.webp!dis) Patches of colour in the floor thin out between the curved bar and the long window counter. ![From one end of the bar, the timber counter edge, stools and bottle display are visible together](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010150-3loTjH5N.webp!dis) From one end of the bar, the timber counter edge, stools and bottle display are visible together. ![Vertical slats rise overhead, with high seats beside the windows to the right](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010151-3i1LkQBk.webp!dis) Vertical slats rise overhead, with high seats beside the windows to the right. ![A timber reception desk follows a blue-lit screen, with the fireplace hood visible beyond](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010152-dxeZMxNQ.webp!dis) A timber reception desk follows a blue-lit screen, with the fireplace hood visible beyond. ![An illuminated lounge sign marks the entrance to a timber-lined passage leading to reception](https://cdn.01des.com/uploads/2026/11/20261103-010153-2AFngFCd.webp!dis) An illuminated lounge sign marks the entrance to a timber-lined passage leading to reception. > Between the hearth and the windows, the seats turn in different directions. The curved sofa faces the fire, the window seats look out over the runways, and high-backed banquettes enclose more private corners.
