Copyright & Intellectual Property Notice

Last Updated: August 26, 2026

This document independently outlines the rights boundaries, intellectual property standards, and infringement complaint procedures for 01DES website content, user submissions, third-party design cases, photography, design assets, brand identity, and AI-assisted materials.

I. Fundamental Principles

  1. 01DES respects the intellectual property rights of designers, architects, studios, photographers, artists, brands, publishers, authors, and other rightsholders.
  2. The inclusion, curation, translation, layout, or display of content on 01DES does not transfer any copyright, trademark, patent, portrait right, or other proprietary rights to 01DES or its users.
  3. Attributions specifying authors, photographers, studios, brands, or image sources are provided solely for rights identification and origin provenance; attribution alone does not constitute a license for redistribution, adaptation, or commercial use.
  4. Any use of content must strictly comply with applicable laws, the authorized scope granted by rightsholders, individual page licensing terms, and this policy.

II. 01DES Proprietary Content

  1. The 01DES name, logos, iconography, brand design system, UI architecture, layout templates, codebases, database structures, editorial curation, original articles, illustrations, diagrams, videos, and all materials legally owned by 01DES are protected by intellectual property laws.
  2. Without prior written authorization, no entity or individual may copy, modify, translate, compile, mirror, sell, lease, sublicense, scrape, or extract 01DES proprietary content to create competing websites, databases, content repositories, or AI training datasets.
  3. Within the bounds of applicable fair use/fair dealing laws, individual users may browse, reference, or quote small portions of content for personal, non-commercial research, study, or commentary. Quotations must maintain the original context and clearly cite "01DES" with direct page URLs without removing proprietary notices or misrepresenting official affiliation.
  4. Media outlets, brands, institutions, or commercial projects seeking to republish, translate, adapt, print, exhibit, or utilize 01DES proprietary content in bulk must obtain prior written permission via hi@01des.com.

III. Third-Party Design Projects, Imagery & Media

  1. All projects, architecture, interiors, furniture, lighting, products, artworks, and photographs showcased on 01DES remain the exclusive intellectual property of their respective creators, designers, architectural firms, photographers, brands, clients, or original media sources.
  2. 01DES utilizes third-party materials based exclusively on one or more lawful grounds:
    • Direct submission or written authorization from the rightsholder or authorized representative;
    • Official press kits, media releases, or brand resources that explicitly grant press/media editorial use;
    • Statutory licenses, fair use exceptions, or legally permissible educational/commentary scopes;
    • Other circumstances explicitly permitted by governing regulations.
  3. Each published article aims to provide accurate attribution for design, photography, client, and media sources. Where authorization requires a specific attribution string, it shall be preserved verbatim.
  4. Disclaimers like "Source: Official Website", "©DR", "Web Source", or the technical ability to download an image do not imply permission to reproduce. Editorial staff verify press guidelines and license terms prior to publication.
  5. Users may not download third-party images from 01DES for commercial advertising, stock resale, generative AI training, product packaging, physical publishing, or unauthorized uses; licenses must be acquired directly from the respective rightsholders.
  6. Upon request by rightsholders to update attributions, modify links, restrict display scope, or remove assets, 01DES will promptly verify and process requests in accordance with governing laws and licensing agreements.

IV. User Submissions & Uploaded Content

  1. Users retain all intellectual property rights they legally hold over submitted materials. Submission or publication does not transfer copyright to 01DES.
  2. Submitters warrant and represent that:
    • They hold full title, copyright, or sufficient authorization over all submitted text, images, videos, drawings, and project documents;
    • They are authorized to disclose project titles, locations, clients, collaborators, and brand credits;
    • All required permissions from photographers, architects, interior designers, artists, models, and clients have been obtained;
    • All provided credits, project roles, and source details are truthful, accurate, and complete;
    • The submission does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, trade secret, or personal data rights.
  3. To review, curate, format, and showcase submissions, the submitter grants 01DES a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license strictly necessary for operating and promoting the 01DES platform, including storage, backup, transcoding, editorial curation, layout styling, translation, public display, digital dissemination, and generating thumbnails, excerpts, and social media previews.
  4. This license does not authorize 01DES to sell submitters' artworks or source files independently outside platform operations. Any commercial merchandising, physical publishing, or paid licensing requires a separate written agreement.
  5. Upon user content deletion or revocation of authorization, 01DES will cease new public dissemination within a reasonable timeframe, excluding archival records required by law, ongoing dispute resolution, backup cycles, or completed lawful third-party reprints.
  6. When a submission involves multiple stakeholders, the submitter must possess authority to grant rights on behalf of all parties. 01DES may request proof of authorization, contracts, or rightsholder confirmations.

V. Editorial, Translation & Attribution

  1. Within authorized scopes, 01DES may perform headline optimization, fact-checking, textual proofreading, translation, image sequencing, responsive formatting, excerpting, and SEO metadata preparation.
  2. Editors shall not misrepresent architectural facts, fabricate professional roles, alter work ownership, or omit mandatory attribution credits.
  3. Bilingual Chinese, English, and Spanish editions represent curated editorial translations of the same project. Copyright in translations and underlying works are determined independently under law; translation does not extinguish original rights.
  4. Original editorial commentary by 01DES is clearly distinguished from factual source data, creator statements, and quoted materials.
  5. Credits for original reporting, photography, design, and editorial adaptations are distinctly demarcated to avoid conflating editorial writing with primary creation.

VI. Design Assets & Download Licensing

  1. Title, copyright, and intellectual property over 3D models, textures, shaders, images, UI kits, templates, documents, and digital files in 01DES Assets do not transfer upon download, payment, credit redemption, or membership quota use.
  2. The exact scope of use is governed by the specific license displayed on each asset page, including but not limited to:
    • Personal vs. Commercial project eligibility;
    • Attribution requirements;
    • Permitted number of seats, projects, devices, or team members;
    • Modification, rendering, final output, and client deliverable permissions;
    • Redistribution, sublicensing, or template inclusion restrictions;
    • File versions, download limits, and license duration.
  3. Unless explicitly permitted, users may not:
    • Resell, rent, donate, or publicly distribute raw source assets;
    • Upload assets to public repositories, cloud drives, code hosts, or shared accounts;
    • Resell assets individually or with minor adjustments as stock items, templates, or standalone products;
    • Incorporate assets into public or commercial AI/ML training, fine-tuning, or evaluation datasets;
    • Remove watermarks, digital rights management (DRM), or bypass access controls;
    • Claim exclusive proprietary rights over original assets.
  4. Where asset pages contain both third-party files and 01DES proprietary resources, rights and conditions are stated separately; generic licenses shall not override third-party terms.
  5. A dedicated Design Asset License Agreement governs asset purchases; this policy provides overarching principles.

VII. AI, Data Scraping & Model Training

  1. Except where permitted by law or authorized in writing by 01DES and relevant rightsholders, bulk scraping, downloading, or extraction of 01DES content for machine learning, model training, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), dataset labeling, or image synthesis reference databases is strictly prohibited.
  2. robots.txt instructions, rate-limiting systems, rights metadata, and website terms collectively establish access boundaries; the absence of a technical barrier does not constitute consent.
  3. Users submitting prompts or assets to AI Design tools warrant their lawful entitlement to do so. 01DES does not presume authorization to utilize private inputs or generated outputs for general model training simply by virtue of feature usage.
  4. AI-generated outputs may bear coincidental similarities to existing works. Users must conduct due diligence and human review before commercial deployment, adhering to third-party model terms.
  5. Copyrightability and ownership of AI-assisted creations are governed by applicable local legislation and human creative input; 01DES makes no guarantee of exclusive title or statutory registrability.

VIII. Trademarks, Names & Brand Identity

  1. "01DES", the 01DES logomark, and associated brand assets are the exclusive property of 01DES or its licensors.
  2. Third-party trademarks, studio names, project titles, and logos appearing on the site belong to their respective proprietors and are used solely for identification, reporting, or authorized presentation.
  3. Unauthorized use of 01DES or third-party marks in domain names, social handles, search ad keywords, deceptive packaging, or misleading endorsements is strictly forbidden.
  4. Designer or studio verification badges signify identity verification only and do not constitute trademark licensing, commercial warranty, or endorsement.

IX. Permitted Linking & Quotation

  1. Direct hyperlinks to public 01DES pages are welcomed provided they do not harm 01DES or rightsholder interests.
  2. Framing, inline linking, mirroring, brand stripping, or source obfuscation that misleads users regarding content origin is prohibited.
  3. Quotations in news reports, reviews, academic research, or educational contexts must be limited to necessary proportions, cite authors, project titles, 01DES, and canonical URLs, without unreasonably prejudicing legitimate interests.
  4. Reproduction of complete articles, extensive image sets, digital asset libraries, or substantial substitute materials requires prior written licensing; source citations alone do not replace authorization.

X. Notice of Infringement (Takedown Notice)

If you believe that any content on 01DES infringes your copyright, trademark, patent, portrait right, or other legitimate interest, please submit a written notice titled "Rights Infringement Notice" to hi@01des.com with the following details:

  1. Full legal name, contact information, and valid proof of identity/corporate registration of the rightsholder;
  2. Evidence of ownership, copyright certificates, chain of title, or preliminary proof of rights;
  3. Exact titles, direct URLs, screenshots, and specific locations of the allegedly infringing material;
  4. Detailed grounds of infringement and requested remedy (e.g., removal, attribution update);
  5. Power of attorney if submitted by an authorized legal representative;
  6. A statement of truth: confirming the notice is accurate, submitted in good faith by the rightsholder or authorized agent, and accepting legal liability for erroneous notices;
  7. Physical or verified electronic signature and date of submission.

Incomplete notices may require supplementary information. For urgent risks involving personal safety or sensitive data breaches, please label the subject line "URGENT".

XI. Notice Processing & Remedial Actions

  1. Upon receiving a compliant notice, 01DES will conduct formal review and take appropriate remedial actions required by law, such as removal, disabling access, download restrictions, attribution correction, or record preservation.
  2. Implementation of protective measures does not constitute a final judicial determination of liability.
  3. Within permissible legal boundaries and respecting privacy, notices and contact info may be forwarded to the content uploader for clarification or counter-notice submission.
  4. Parties submitting fraudulent or malicious notices causing damages may be held liable under applicable laws.
  5. 01DES will process and respond within statutory timeframes upon receipt of complete materials.

XII. Counter-Notice & Appeals

Content providers who believe remedial measures were taken in error may submit a counter-notice to hi@01des.com containing:

  1. Legal identity, contact details, and proof of standing;
  2. Identification of the removed material and its previous location;
  3. Evidence of non-infringement, proof of ownership, license agreements, or fair use justification;
  4. Specific request for content restoration;
  5. A statement accepting legal responsibility and confirming accuracy;
  6. Physical or electronic signature and date.

01DES may forward counter-notices to the original complainant. Content restoration will be determined based on evidence, statutory rules, and risk assessment. Complex disputes may require formal dispute resolution.

XIII. Repeat Infringement & Account Termination

For accounts engaged in repeated or severe infringements, falsification of licenses, attribution tampering, DRM circumvention, or bad-faith takedown submissions, 01DES reserves the right under the User Agreement to restrict submissions, suspend downloads, freeze, or terminate accounts without prejudice to legal remedies.
