Architecture, Art and Lived Character
Pierre Yovanovitch founded his Paris practice in 2001. Working across residences, hotels, restaurants and cultural spaces, he develops interiors through architectural composition, material depth and close dialogue with contemporary art.
His rooms are often restrained in structure but rich in character. Carefully judged proportions, natural materials and specially commissioned works create settings that feel composed without becoming impersonal.
Furniture as Part of the Interior
Furniture has long been integral to this approach. Yovanovitch uses sculptural forms, expressive silhouettes and skilled European craft to give rooms rhythm and emotional presence.
The launch of Pierre Yovanovitch Mobilier in 2021 made this strand of the practice more visible. Across interiors and objects, his work balances refinement with humour, comfort and a distinctly human scale.
