Restrained, Sensorial Interiors
Fiona Lynch founded her Melbourne interior design studio in 2013 and leads it as creative director. The practice works across hotels, multi-residential projects, cultural institutions, retail and private homes in Australia and internationally.
Its interiors are restrained yet sensorial. Material, tactility and light are used to build atmosphere, while detailing and craft give each project a distinct identity rather than a repeatable house style.
Research, Collaboration and Longevity
Collaboration with artists, artisans and makers is central to the studio. This exchange extends into Work Shop, its programme for testing and presenting new work, and Future Archive, a resource focused on emerging sustainable materials.
Lynch’s work shows how quiet composition can still carry surprise. The emphasis is on durable outcomes: spaces and objects whose material intelligence, clarity and emotional tone can remain relevant over time.
