Order, Material and Proportion
Francesc Rifé is the founder and principal of Francesc Rifé Studio, the multidisciplinary Barcelona practice established in 1994. Its work spans interiors, industrial design, architecture, art direction, installations and concept creation.
The studio’s visual language is rooted in craftsmanship, simplicity, material honesty and geometric proportion. Restraint is used to clarify relationships between structure, furniture, light and movement.
Simplicity with Emotional Warmth
Rifé’s interiors often rely on a limited material palette and precise construction. Wood, stone and metal are allowed to age and carry texture, giving minimal spaces warmth and duration.
This method avoids treating minimalism as emptiness. Order becomes a framework for use and atmosphere, allowing detail, tactility and carefully controlled light to define the experience.
